Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at Impact3rdcattledogs@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

We perform health testing on all of our breeding dogs for through Embark or Orivet, and puppies of all litters from single carrier dam or sire tested with Gensel

We are slowly working to improve our breeding practices with OFA CHIC program!

Our puppies are raised in our home and receive daily socialization with people, children and other dogs.

Our puppies are fed Purina Pro Plan, or Purina Puppy Chow. We provide small portion of kibble the puppies are currently on to the Puppy buyers when they head to their homes!

I look at each individual dog I have and see what I can correct or add to them that isn't already there or what they're lacking in, such as energy, drive, head, teeth, ears, feet, height, weight, topline, and general abilities that can be accommodated through breeding! one breeding isn't flawless, but I do my best to consider which sire and dam will complement one other the best!

I never choose a stud or dam just for the sake of breeding; I breed for a purpose, whether it's a pet, conformation or breeding quality, herding, agility, service work, or even bitesports focused breeding! If the waitlists aren't fully stocked, I'll wait on that crossing to improve my chances of getting those dogs.

We guarantee 2 year replacement puppy guarantee in our contracts if the puppy has any unknown health problems or lose of life. Which will require statements from your vet and a full evaluation done by our vet!

We guarantee that none of our puppies are affected or more than one copy carrier of any genetic diseases passed down from sire and dam

All breedings that include a sire or dam with one copy of a genetic disease. We will individually test each puppy through DNA testing for the puppy buyer at our expense!

All breedings where sire and dam are full panel cleared are listed as obligate clear by sire and dams percentage

We have been breeding dogs since 2023!

We ask you fill out a Puppy Application on our website and we will reach out as soon as we see it.

After approval you can place a waitlist non-refundable deposit of $50 towards one of our Planned Litters

Our litters typically range from 4-8 puppies.

Yes, we can ship puppies to most locations within the United States. Shipping costs depend on location, but buyer is responsible to cover all fees regarding transportation!

You can find all specific breed health concerns through the OFA CHIC program, here is a link to view them: Ofa.org/chic-programs/browse-by-breed/?breed=ACD

For those who cannot click the link they include:

Hip Dysplasia, Elbow Dysplasia, prcd-Progressive Retinal Atrophy, Deafness, Primary Lens Luxation, Patellar Luxation, and Congenital Cardiac

What type of health testing do you perform on your dogs, prior to breeding?

Full DNA genetic testing, Hip and Elbow Dysplasia

Additional: Patellar Luxation, Congenital Cardiac, BAER, and PennHip

We are slowly updating our health screenings into the OFA database, we will be more than happy to provide any and all health testing already completed.

You can reserve a puppy by filling out our online application and placing a non-refundable deposit of $500-$1000

I breed my pairings to avoid such issues, as I never breed affected outcomes of genetic diseases. But speaking of hips, and elbows I cannot guarantee that a puppy passes those because many factors can affect the outcome when growing or raised, but if Puppy was sold full rights we require spay/nueter of said failed OFA testingpuppy and a replacement puppy offered from a different litter!

We breed American Kennel Club (AKC) Registered & American Stock Dog Registry (ASDR) Registered Australian Cattle Dogs. We do not cross our own breeding programs together, our first litter was a cross between registries, but felt it didnt favor our goals in mind!

Yes written in contract, if you're unable to provide care, or can no longer keep puppy. You're not permitted to sell, or rehome the puppy.  They're to be returned to us, we do not support our puppies ever ending up in bad situations or shelters!

First you must submit a puppy application then once approved, you either join our waitlist or start process of purchasing a puppy from our current litters available. We will then provide our contract for breeding which includes terms and regulations in event of accidental or intentional breeding under the required age, and required health testing before you can breed your puppy from us! Once approved and agreed to our terms you can reserve a puppy, but must follow our terms before you can breed. We have experienced people who are shady and breed for the $ as early as they can!

We build a waitlist, however some may leave it before or right after birth due to certain life circumstances or just lack of patience. But once litter is born, we go based on our waitlist positions, once we go through waitlist we make the remaining puppies available!
